Safety Settings

This guide is intended to be a supplemental quick reference to IFT training and is not intended to replace in person or virtual training.

Follow all Federal and Local FAA rules and regulations


Safety Settings:

-Set RTL to an altitude that will clear any obstacle in the mission area. Convert all altitudes to CM. 

-Battery failsafes are pre set, 15% (21.8 volts)  battery life remaining will initiate a RTL, 5%(21.1volts)  remaining will trigger a land in

 place. 

-Set GCS failsafe to desired outcome: If flying an automated mission that may have loss of GCS comms, set to “Continue

 Mission,” if freeflying, set to RTL. 

-Confirm the following:

A button: Loiter (Turtle: for takeoff/landing, precision flying)

B button: Position hold (Turbo: go fast)

Home: RTL

(C and D are not used)
