Battery Charging

This guide is intended to be a supplemental quick reference to IFT training and is not intended to replace in person or virtual training.

Follow all Federal and Local FAA rules and regulations


Battery Charging:

-Download the NFC Tools app to scan batteries and get battery data.

-Charge batteries one at a time, I.E. one battery per charger, multiple batteries per charger can lead to charging errors.

-Batteries will begin self discharging after 48 hours.

-Store batteries in a metal battery storage cabinet. Only use the transport case for transportation

-To store in sleep mode, ensure batteries are below 40%, press and hold the button for 5 seconds. The light will flash 

green, blue, then white, indicating the battery is asleep

-Label batteries and use in pairs to ensure equal charge cycles.

-Do not fly if the battery LED is solid red, press the button to clear the fault, green indicates the fault is cleared.
